The CheckWise App
The CheckWise App addresses the 41 million people with food allergies and 47 million contact allergy sufferers in Europe as well as their family members and dependents. As an intelligent shopping helper, the app creates transparency and certainty directly in the supermarket. For though the 14 most frequent allergens, as well as designations for contact allergies on cosmetics (INCI's) and care products, must be declared on packaging throughout Europe, the different names and terms often cause confusion. CheckWise detects food allergens, additives (E numbers), fragrances, ingredients and sugars.
Thus the CheckWise App can help individuals but also society at large. For according to the European Allergy Foundation (ECARF) people with allergies in Europe create indirect costs (e.g. through the inability to work) of at least 142 billion euros annually.
Loyalty Card
The allergy profile of individual users or entire families can be stored on the customer card. During the payment process, the user is shown whether the product is suitable for their profiles.
A pharmacist can use the data entered to identify a customer's drug intolerances and directly issue a drug without the critical ingredient or give a warning to the customer.
API
Our recognition technology can be added to existing apps and all browsers. User’s can log into retailers, food delivery services, hotels and airline websites, etc. to get the information that matches their profile.
